Real Bride: A Classically Beautiful Wedding!

June 5, 2020

Hi Brides! We hope everyone is having a great start to their summer! We recently had a chance to catch up with our real bride, Erin, and talk about her dreamy wedding! Erin married her husband, Ben, at their small family church in Bethany, Missouri. Erin and Ben later celebrated with their friends and family at local fair grounds! We’re so glad Erin is a Fab Frocks bride and we can’t wait to share some of her favorite memories and photos!

Erin’s Wedding:

Erin and Ben tied the knot on October 12th, 2019 in front of their family and close friends in an intimate and romantic ceremony! Erin envisioned her day to be simple and boho inspired with some western/rustic touches. They used cowhide rugs, brass candle holders, and wheat/dried grass as most of their decor! We asked Erin what her favorite memory from her wedding was, “My bridesmaids created a book full of letters from all my loved ones. I got to read them while we got ready that morning, luckily it was before my make up was done. I loved that so much and it’s something I can always look back to!”

Erin also had several personal touches included in her wedding, “On our wedding day I carried one of my Grandma’s hankies with me, which was my something old and something blue. My bouquet was made by my aunt and she told me the roses she used were the same that were used in my Grandpa’s casket piece. I loved carrying a little bit of him with me that day.”

Erin’s Dress:

Erin wore a stunning fit-to-flare lace gown designed by White April! We asked Erin how she knew she found her dream dress, “For starters, I had terrible luck with my dress appointments and Fab Frocks was able to schedule me last minute. You guys reached out to me and genuinely cared about what I wanted and my vision for our wedding. I had not talked to anyone from a bridal boutique over the phone before Fabulous Frocks and this meant a lot to me! I was torn between two dresses and Angela was able to help me create a mixture of the two! It was exactly what I had in mind, unique and simple! (I wish I could wear it again!)”

Real Bride Erin’s Advice for Future Brides:

If I could give any advice it would be to not worry and not compare your wedding to others. At the end of the day you are married to your favorite person in the whole world. No one will remember what your centerpieces looked like or what songs were playing. I didn’t get wrapped up in the little things and I think that’s what made my experience so great!”
