Hi brides! Planning a wedding can be difficult, but finding your dream dress shouldn’t be! We love helping brides find their perfect gown that they had always envisioned! While most brides are excited to find their dress, sometimes they’re nervous because they don’t know what to expect! We always strive to help the bride and her bride tribe have a fun and laid-back day while they choose their wedding dress! Check out some of our tips on shopping for your dream dress!

Set a Budget:

The first step to take is setting a budget for the dress! The dress budget will determine what dresses your personal bridal stylist will choose for you. We are always conscious of the bride’s budget and never want to pull anything that would push them out of their comfort zone! Our gowns range from $1,500 to $4,000 and we have a wide selection for any budget!

Find Dress Inspiration Pictures:

Once you’ve set a budget, the next step is the fun part! It’s time to find inspiration pictures of what you’d like in a dress! Social media sites, such as Pinterest, are a great place to start looking at dresses to find out what you’re liking! We always recommend brides to follow our Instagram before they come see us because you can see dresses that are available in our boutique! Your bridal stylist will ask at the beginning of the appointment for any inspiration photos you may have to get a better idea of what you’re looking for in a dream dress!

Your Bride Tribe:

Finding your dream dress should be a fun and exciting experience that you share with those who are important to you! The choice of who to bring with you to your bridal appointment is very important. We recommend bringing the key decision makers with you to the appointment. The key decision makers could be the person paying for the dress or the person you can’t imagine choosing a wedding dress without. We also recommend to not bring too many people to the appointment! While it might be fun to involve a lot of people in the process, it can become overwhelming with too many opinions! We’re so excited to meet everyone’s bride tribe!

Be Open Minded:

One of the biggest recommendations we can give to brides is to stay open minded! While it is important to come into the appointment with an idea of what you want in a dress, it is extremely common for brides to end up in something completely different than they imagined! Some brides think they want a simple dress and end up in a showstopper dress with sparkle! Other brides think they want a gown with a full skirt and end up loving a fitted dress! Your bridal stylist will be able to choose dresses that they believe will flatter the bride’s body type and fit everything she wants! We can’t wait to help brides find their frock!
