Behind the Veil- Breanna’s Nashville Wedding

Oh, sweet Bre! This precious bride was an absolute pleasure from the day we set up her appointment to the day of receiving her wedding pictures. We are absolutely elated to be sharing her big day with you!

Tell us about your wedding! When it was, where it was, and who helped put it together.

Our wedding was on the most picture perfect fall day I could have ever wished for on October 1st, 2016. I have always dreamed of a beautiful fall wedding in the south where the fall colors start to radiate through the trees and the nights are perfectly cool. We chose to have our wedding at Carnton Plantation in my hometown of Franklin, Tennessee. After our ceremony, the sun set provided the backdrop for our cocktail hour and gave way to a night full of dancing. My mom and my wedding planner, Tracey McLaughlin, helped me through all the details of planning and Meagan Wuest of Carnton Plantation put all of my Pinterest creations together to create our ideal wedding day.

How did you pick out your wedding gown?

Like most girls, I had a vision of what I wanted to look like on my big day. I knew that I didn’t want the traditional all ivory/white dress, therefore I imagined that it would be pretty difficult to find exactly what I was looking for in the bridal stores. However, after walking in the doors of Fabulous Frocks, I knew I was in the right place to find my dress. Amy was a dream to work with and it was like she knew exactly what type of dress I was trying to find without me even telling her much.  I’m not like most brides who get emotional when they find their wedding gown, but when I put on the all ivory lace wedding gown and walked out of the fitting room, I could tell my mom and best friends faces that this dress was going to be my wedding gown. It was absolutely perfect.

What is your favorite memory?
My favorite memory on my wedding day, besides marrying the most perfect guy in the world, was my sister walking me down the aisle. My sister is my biggest supporter and has been there for me throughout my whole life and I was honored that she wanted to walk me down the aisle on my wedding day.

Any advice for future brides?
BREATHE and remember the reason you are planning this very special day. 🙂
