Spring weddings are just about here and we could not be more excited! There is something enchanting about all the colorful flowers and green trees. The warm, love-filled breezes make for the perfect time of year to tie the knot. For all of our brides that need some last minute tips for their spring wedding, or planning for next spring, we have some ideas to inspire you!

 

1. Weather Good Or Bad, Plan Ahead!

You know the saying for April and what it brings? Think through all the possibilities so nothing comes as a surprise the day of the wedding. If your venue is all inside and you know you will take some photos outside and/or will have to walk from one space to the other, consider purchasing umbrellas for you and the bridal party. If the ceremony and reception are outside, look into tent rentals. Even if cocktail hour is the only thing outside, your guests will thank you for keeping them dry!

2. Use The Beauty Of The Venue

Accentuate the best features of your venue. Is there a fountain? Add some spring flowers or petals! Even some larger blooms would look splendid floating in water. If it is an evening event, adding dripless, floating candles will enhance the look, as well.

3. Pretty And Delicious

Edible flowers make for a sweet spring touch any event. You can incorporate them in salads or bruschetta and other breads or toasts – and desserts, of course! Any smaller sampler or appetizer will instantly spring to life with some color from the flowers!

4. Let Love Bloom

Bouquets have a great deal of flexibility these days. Using greenery and bright blooms can have a big impact on the overall feel for wedding day. Take advantage of every incredible flower spring brings. From daffodils, to blossoming cherry blossoms or forsythia, peonies, tulips, hyacinth, and lilac, embrace the beauty that is spring!

5. Sunset Schedule

As the days are getting longer, be sure to consider what time the sunset will be. This will impact pictures and outdoor ceremonies and receptions. Also, having the guests arrive for a daytime ceremony that transitions into an evening event creates an romantic feel!

6. Embrace The Season

Not only is it special to use seasonal food, seasonal flowers, or even seasonal flavors, but it can also be budget-friendly! Selecting items in season only enhances the spring environment. You could even decorate place settings and programs with sweet spring accents!
